I hate leaving snotty reviews but this product really deserves it. I bought this product today and have been excited to buy it for the best part of a year as our old manrose fan is so noisy! I installed this new vent axia ‘silent’ fan and I was amazed how silent it was - only to realize that it comes with a factory low-speed preset which doesn’t extract anything, it doesn’t even lift the back draft flaps! Switched the jumper to the high-speed setting and hey presto! ......a noisy cheapo fan that you just paid £57 for! Then to top it off, when you put it in the duct, the wires that run up the inside push into the fan and stop it from turning! Absolutely rubbish design and a massive con about being silent! You may as well put your own speed control on a £20 run-of-the-mill fan!

Thought I'd spend money and get a high quality product, unfortunately I spent the money and got the worst. Bought this fan when I renovated my bathroom. Had a professional builder install it along with doing the rest of my bathroom. It worked for about 6 months then stopped. I called the builder back to check it out, he couldn't get it working. Took it back and got another, installed it and this worked for a bit longer but less than a year. I now have yet another expensive bit of plastic in my bathroom that does nothing.
Can't hear this fan

Bought this can as a direct replacement for our old fan as it woke people up with the mouse. This fan is so quiet, I didn't think it was working at first. Good long overrun as well
