Bought this not for the purpose intended but rather to fill the base of a parasol. Works brilliant. It's as fine and dry as sugar. 5x bags all dry. None had moisture.

Wettest kiln dried sand in all the world

How they can call this product “kiln dried” is beyond me. Every bag I bought from B&Q had moisture in it. I used the sand the day after purchase and stored it in an dry, damp free place overnight. Although some of the sand was dry it was very clumpy and wet in part also which made sweeping between joints a much more laborious task than it should have been.

Cheap and hourglass dry, perfect for the job

Kiln dried sand......stored outside in the garden centre. Bag I purchased had no visible holes or tears in it so thought it was ok, wrong, it was too wet and wouldn’t run into the joints as it should.
