why does the measure have 18cms on it if you cannot fix the guide at 18cms because of the curve at the end of the measure

Good product for the money

We bought this when we were tiling our new kitchen. The angle guide is not accurate at all but overall a decent tool for the money. Convenient to store.

Great for price!!!

We bought this as we are tiling our bathroom. It is relatively easy to set and operate, but that where the pro’s end.

This doesn’t so much cut the tiles, but rips through them leaving chips, rough edges and lumps when it reaches the end of the tile. I’m pretty sure Attila the Hun made cleaner cuts than this does.

The design of the cutting guide means that it does not extend to the stated length, but is a couple of centimetres short. I’ve found that the water washes off any guidelines drawn on the surface of the tiles, so it is probably a good idea to scribe them. Also, as we are using tiles which are 31x62cm it is difficult to handle them and because our walls are irregular I have found that the guide is largely useless due to having to cut at angles

Care should be taken with measurements as the cutting disc chews out more than you would think. I triple check, but I have been caught out more than once.

It does make the job quicker, but I wish I’d gotten a decent quality manual cutter as this cutter isn’t as accurate as I would like.
