Sad to say, AVOID all GoodHome Appliances….

We were sold the GoodHome Appliances for our new kitchen just over a year ago, being told they were comparable to the Bosch Series 6 Range. Whilst they were certainly comparable with the aesthetic looks and features, their durability and quality did not stand the test of time.
This review is for GoodHome Built-In Multifuction Oven/Microwave
However, we also purchased the:
GoodHome 5 Zone 900mm Induction Hob
GoodHome Built-In Pyrolytic Oven
Totalling to nearly £2,000 worth of appliances which all were eventually returned.
So the issues with this was:
After one year of use, being cleaned regularly with non-harsh cleaning products and dried with paper towel the interior showed significant signs of rusting!
In addition to the above - the touch screen panel would also freeze and become non-responsive from time to time. A common issues with ALL the appliances we had.
Photos sent to warranty and refund was provided without issue or delay.
Thank goodness for the 5 year warranty and Apleson (Manufacture) being surprisingly helpful but I wouldn’t recommend anyone purchase any of the GoodHome Appliance range.

Had this installed 6 months now as I wanted to test it well before writing a review. The product looks good and is pretty easy to use. Set up was easy (16amp supply needed!). The display is really nice and the menus simple to navigate. There are plenty of options such as fan, pizza, conventional etc. As an oven it heats up really quickly and evenly, works well. As a microwave it also works really well and been so large, it makes life easy.
We have had an engineer out once and contacted customer services twice. First time was to replace the door as there was a piece of paper stuck on the inside glass! Second time was to replace the shelves as the white spacers at the back had fallen apart (need these during microwave to stop metal shelves touching the metal oven). On both occasions, service has been first class and issues quickly resolved (not B&Q).
So, overall an OK combination oven. Expensive and not confident it will last a long time but does the job. Really hard to get a large combo oven/microwave so happy overall.
I was very disappointed

Our microwave also stopped working after 10 minutes use. The engineer came took a look and said the main circuit board had blown, we had just had the electrician install the microwave onto new rewire. They said they needed to order new parts. I stood firm and insisted they replace the microwave. They did. I’m now afraid to use the oven on my combination microwave. We did not receive the glass tray on the two microwave ovens .
I have not been able to get through on the telephone to B&q Bamia. To order one
Broke first time we used it

Very first time of using, put on the oven setting, 45 mins later it tripped our switch. Electrician told us that the oven is faulty. B&Q tell us that they wil have to get a case worker, and then an electrician before they can replace, leaving us withuot a means of cooking for goodness knows how long.
