Time will tell

First time using water based gloss paint.
Echo other reviewers dissatisfaction with how quickly solvent based white gloss paint yellows.
Immediate benefit was its low odour and fast drying time.
It is however very runny and takes a while to get used to the consistency.
With traditional gloss when loaded well the brush strokes melt away as the paint settles on the surface.
With this too much causes it to run and drip and not enough results in poor coverage with every brush stroke visible.
Time will tell if we have chosen wisely regarding its anti yellowing properties.

First time I've used this water based paint because it's supposed to stay whiter for longer. I've always used the oil based version before but I've been disappointed recently with how quickly it was yellowing. Water based version is more difficult to use, requires more coats and undercoats and doesn't have a good finish. The only advantage I can see is it may stay whiter for longer.

This stuff is excellent BUT you MUST shake the hell out of the can when you first use. The issue people are having with poor opacity and runny ness are because the paint has not been adequately mixed. Close the lid and shake it for a minute before first use and it’s a dream!

Not the glossy white I wanted.

First off I don't think any 'water based' gloss will ever beat the old oil based, But this one was not too bad. Not high gloss but OK. Needs 2 coats and works better if you lightly sand between coats. Well it did for me.
