This was my first attempt at plastering a large(ish) surface. We’d had a door removed and the area blocked up with plaster board and plastered really well on one side but the other side had been left bare and looked awful. It was not likely that this would be finished so i decided to have a go.
I researched plastering online and watched videos. I practiced a few times before i started properly. This stuff really works. It goes on well and dries after a couple of days. The only problem is it has a lot of small air bubbles in it so if you don’t catch them and smooth them over, it dries with a few holes.
Once sanded and filled, it ends up being a very nice finish. I’ve now painted the area and it looks really good.
I’m going to do some more plastering jobs and will be using this product. It’s good to work with.

Don't expect a perfect finish , my first time trying to "plaster" using trowel, I got it as good as I could after realising that I wasn't going to get rid of every single drag mark, then sanded down with medium grit and then fine wet/dry and it looks fantastic. This was over a stippled artex wall. Time to buy more tubs and do the rest.

We bought this product to go alongside the Fine surface smoothover where wall imperfections and dents were worse once we’d stripped layers and layers of wallpaper and paint. Also used as stand in plaster where needed on the worst of the walls. Would recommend!
Great for bumpy lumpy holey walls

Removed all the wallpaper in our spare room and was left with a mess on the walls. Missing plaster, gouges, dimples all over. Ideally needed plastering, but couldn't afford that. One tub of this stuff and it's like a brand new wall. Took a couple of days for me to cover every inch of wall with a scraper, then sanded it all smooth and it's like a new wall. Wasn't so easy doing the ceiling as its heavy stuff and the blobs drop down as you're scraping, so just sanded that bit
Shrinks and cracks

Very disappointed. I followed the instructions carefully but the product shrinks when drying and leaves large cracks which then have to be filled. I would not use this again.
