I bought this paint in August and painted my garden fence (which was unpainted as it’s a new build property)which took around 15 hours over several sunny day for a couple of coats. Within a few weeks it started to turn brown and now looks like it was painted a decade ago. I contacted Cuprinol who said it’s a common occurrence as the make-up of the paint brings the tannins out in the wood. They provided me with a voucher which covered half the cost of the tins I’d bought and no other compensation bearing in mind I now need to repaint the whole fence. If I’d know this I wouldn’t have bought the paint especially when you take into account it’s a lot more expensive than other brands.

Nice to use but not quite the colour I wanted

Does drip a bit but I guess it needs to be quite watery to soak into the wood. Two coats did a good job covering an old shed that had previously been creosoted and was very tatty looking. However once it dried the colour was a very minty green (similar to the chartwell green UPVC windows and doors) I bought a tin of the country cream in the same range, mixed the two together and it made a lovely pale sage green colour which looks lovely and blends in better with the garden greenery.

We bought this colour after extensive research online but we're really disappointed that the actual colour which is more like mint green is no resemblance to the colour chart

It is the same colour as the tin, this paint is very watery. I painted over a cedar coloured fence, so I used three coats.

    Excellent shade

I painted my shed in this call and it is well worth it. Perfect colour for a small shed in a small garden. I will buy again.
