We are very happy with this fan, it looks modern and works very well. Even at the highest speed it is still very stable and quiet, much quieter than the floor-standing fan we had before. Don't expect a 'leaf-blower' type wind though, that's not how ceiling fans work - they move a lot of air gently rather than a small amount of air forcefully.

I do agree with other reviewers that it's rather a pain to install. I would not recommend attempting this unless you are a confident DIYer with good tools. The instructions are ambiguous in places so you will need to do some logical deduction to figure out the best way forward. Top tip: Make sure your screwdrivers are magnetised so you can install the screws for the fan blades without dropping them into the fan body - the access hatch is very small.

You will also need a strong ceiling joist to attach it to - it's pretty heavy and will vibrate with use, so plasterboard will not be sufficient.

Decent fan

Bought this fan yesterday and my husband fitted it. Had to put extra wood in the attic as it is very heavy and as mentioned in other review was quite tricky to fit. Some screwholes werent lined up or cross threaded. Got there in the end. I love this fan and have the 3 blade white one downstairs. Very sturdy fans. Am very pleased.

Good quality

Great fan and yes a faff to get it together and you do need two people to lift and wire in place.

Now the nitty gritty, Does Anyone Know where I Can Source a Replacement Remote From?
It doesn't have to be an original one and I care not to what it look likes I just want one that works. Without a remote this fan is useless, all you can operate from the switch is the light. no fan function at all.
So anyone?
