I used this adhesive to stick down a 1.5m x 1.7m piece of sheet vinyl in my new bathroom, directly onto the floorboards. The instructions don’t specify what kind or size of notched trowel should be used, so I used a plastic spreader I had with 4mm square notches. I used nearly the whole tub for my bathroom floor, which equates to about 2.6 m2 - so not nearly the 9m2 specified on the tub. I didn’t wait the full 25 minutes before smoothing down the vinyl, as I wanted to be sure I could reposition it a bit if I needed to. After smoothing it down, I walked over the entire area to make sure it was well pressed down, with no air bubbles. Finally, I sealed around the edges with some CT1 sealant. I’m very pleased with the result. There are no air pockets or bumps, and it’s very comfortable to walk on. The only niggle I have is with the instructions which don’t give any details as to what kind of spreader should be used. They should provide this information, or even better, supply a spreader with the glue.

Followed the instructions - great results

Used a paint brush to apply any waited around 23 minutes each time. I had the lino cut almost to size so just a case of flipping it into place and using a grout float to smooth over. Great results and super easy.
