DO NOT BUY if therer is any chance of water

DO NOT BUY if therer is any chance of water being anywhere near it.
I put down 15 suare metres of this stuff and now, having seen how fragile this is when laying, I do not believe it will last a winter where water may get on it.
It chipped terrible when laying. If it had to be realigned or removed for some fine tuning after the initial cut it would chip the others layed with it on removal. The laminate layer is so thin it is really delicate.
I had a small pice which got water on and within no time at all, in front of my eye's it swelled up and now I fear the winter where wet feet may come in to contact with it.
This is terrible stuff. The cost of fitting and the time I have lost I feel would of made it far more worthwhile me fitting the expensive engineered flooring I considered before deciding cheap would do until I finish the resdt of the home improvements. Not worth it even for 1 years worth out of it.
Easy to fit and looks expensive.

Having read the reviews I purchased the flooring anyway as it looked lovely in the shop on display. I can honestly say the reviews make it sound awful and cheap but it was very easy to fit. I used 24m2 between my kitchen and livingroom and fitted it myself. It looks very expensive down and obviously any laminate is delicate, I used a wood blade in the jigsaw with cutting the boards laminate side down and never got any chips. I did get chips on a couple of boards trying to prise them intogether at some tricky areas but this isn't uncommon. The trick is if you do get chips just go over them with a grey wax crayon and build into the chip with layers of the wax and they disappear, now having laid this myself and only got 6 chips maximum. I would recommend this flooring and combining it with a decent underlay, I used the 5mm easy cut stuff which was also bought from b&q.

Floor fitter here now and as he cuts into the boards they are splitting & cracking all over.
It’s taking him twice as long as it should and the waste is appalling.
Not as bad as the reviews make out lol

Silly me for reading the reviews after my purchase lol! There’s a few chips here and there but grey flooring is prone to chipping anyway. 1 packet covers more than I thought it would, i had one pack left over.
